How to communicate climate change with people through films and photos? How to engage indigenous people in climate activism? How to use communication tools to drive conservation actions? Join YPCCC and ConBio SIG with Kyle Obermann, an environmental photographer, filmmaker, and writer whose work supports indigenous conservation groups and documents the relationship between humans and nature. His stories have been published with National Geographic, BBC, The Nature Conservancy, and Chinese National Geography. Currently, his climate docuseries US-China Journey to Net Zero is being released in China.

Kyle will be speaking about the specific strategies he uses as an environmental storyteller to find and publish stories, capture his audience, and drive change, including how these can be applied to effective climate communication.
